Eye exams are important for children because they help detect vision problems that can affect learning and development. Regular check-ups ensure that any issues are addressed early, allowing kids to thrive in school and daily activities.
We encourage families to start having their children's eyes examined at approximately 3 years of age, at the start of school and every year following. Children who wear glasses or contact lenses should have an eye examination done yearly.
